YoHr Space the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership for Yorkshire and Humber is sponsoring the Celebration of Learning and Skills Awards (CoLaS) from the Learning and Skills Council.
The Celebration of Learning and Skills (CoLaS) is a prestigious awards ceremony that recognises and rewards individual achievements and organisational commitment to learning and skills.
Chris Taylor, Director YoHr Space says, “We are delighted to be sponsors at this years CoLaS. YoHr Space supports the Region’s Authorities to complement their collaborative work on the skills agenda. These awards are an opportunity to recognise the enormous effort individuals and businesses are putting in to developing learning and skills.”
Now in its second year, CoLaS 2009 is Yorkshire and the Humber’s biggest showcase of learning excellence, highlighting achievements of both individuals and employers who are succeeding regardless of the gloomy economic climate.
The 12 awards showcase various skills and qualities and this year, seven of the award categories incorporate the regional heats of The Apprenticeship Awards. The winners of these seven categories will also be judged in the National Apprenticeship Awards and may be shortlisted.
The spotlight will shine on Yorkshire and the Humber’s skills landscape as CoLaS 2009 lights up learning with a spectacular awards ceremony at the Harrogate International Centre on Thursday 21 May 2009. Shortlisted nominees will join more than 1,000 guests for an evening packed full of entertainment.
