Employer Sponsored Volunteering Schemes - Learning Workshop

Employer Sponsored Volunteering Schemes (ESVS) are rapidly becoming
a key component of an organisation’s corporate social responsibility and
business improvement plans. Across large and small, public and private
sectors, ESVS are providing employers with the ability to:

• Attract, develop and retain committed staff;

• Promote a positive image of the organization amongst local
communities, customers and its wider stakeholder environment:

• Deliver visible activity as part of a wider corporate social
responsibility strategy; and

• Develop a greater understanding of customers and communities
