Range of regional events about the UK Climate Change Projection

Climate change is the greatest environmental issue we face today. Whilst we must continue to reduce our emissions, we also need to prepare for change which, due to past emissions, is now inevitable.

Following the launch of UK Climate Projections (UKCP09) on 18 June 2009, and to complement national ‘Projections in Practice’ events, Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber and the Yorkshire & Humber Climate Change Partnership would like to invite you to participate in a week of events hosted in, and tailored to, your region.

The Projections in Practice week is a series of free events, aimed at equipping delegates with the information they need to assess the risk climate change poses to their business or organisation. There are general sessions open to all, technical ‘hands-on’ sessions, and more detailed sector-specific workshops.
