Background:
To develop a thriving Third Sector, LAA and an improved National Indicator 17. By working across the sub-region, improve effectiveness of relationships between councils and Third Sector.To improve effectiveness of the COMPACT in the sub-region. Develop common approaches to commissioning and procurement.
 
Delivery: 
Will improve processes, skills across the sector to enable delivery of local services.
 • Learning would be regularly shared within the four councils and would also link to the sub-regional and regional networks of the Third Sector.
• Would also link into IDeA to share learning via good practice examples.
• Would aim to bid for COMPACT award if project successful.
• Develop a robust network for future development and learning.
 
 
Outcomes:
§      The transformation of public services in our priority areas.
§      Self-improving authorities that lead and support others, and are open to challenge. • Active self-directing and value adding networks that drive innovation and share learning 
§      An improvement and efficiency ‘hub’ offering access to coherent and co-ordinated high quality support to all authorities and their partners.   
§      At the moment the four councils have a mixed performance in this area, the output would be an overall increase in effectiveness and consistency.
