How to engage with YoHr Space

If you have a proposal for a project that you think would benefit your local authority, sub region or the region as a whole then YoHr Space would like to hear about it.

Below are the four stages of engaging with YoHr Space, all project proposals must follow the same process, stages of which cannot be by-passed.

1. Look at the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Strategy – does the proposal fit with the region’s strategy and can this fit be demonstrated.

2. Discuss your proposal with your sub-regional representative or relevant network lead who will be able to advise you on opportunities for collaboration and/ or shared learning with other parts of the region. See below for your relevant contacts.

3. Submit your proposal to YoHr Space where it will be presented to The Hub (see governance structure).

4. Feedback from YoHr Space will be provided about your proposal whether it is successful or not.

Preparation for project implementation
Following approval, commissioned projects will receive an award letter and project documentation. It should be noted that changes to project documentation may be necessary from time to time, for example, as a result of additional reporting requirements requested by the programme boards/groups, YoHr Space Board or CLG.

Key Objectives of the framework
The key objective of the framework is to provide clarity to approved projects from the outset on the expectations of YoHr Space – Yorkshire and Humber’s Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) and Communities for Local Government (CLG) with regard to financial and performance monitoring.  It includes a full set of documentation which accompanies the Performance Management Framework:
