Background:
|
From April 2009 local authorities will be required to control access rights to centrally held secure information systems, including access via Government Connect to the DWP, DCSF (including Contact Point) and DCLG.
|

Delivery:
|
The project will provide regional workshops to determine best practice. High level integration requirements and process maps will be developed. A final report producing key recommendations will be developed alongside an effective best practice model.
|
|
Outcomes:
|
Efficiencies will be gained from implementing the best practice approach rather than developing individual approaches. Improved local authority services would result through better management of access to secure information systems.
