Calderdale MBC’s largest regeneration project is dependent on increased rail capacity for sustainability and climate change mitigation. Funding was provided for the Caldervale Line Economic Study, which has been used in response to consultation and the Transport Vision refresh. There is now the economic evidence base needed for the authority to represent itself at a city-region level. A bid has now been made for Regional Funding Advice (RFA2 funding) on transport interchanges and rural access.
