welcome

YoHr Space is a three year programme of support for local authorities and their partners which concludes on the 31st March 2011.

One of nine sector led Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships (RIEPs) across England, YoHr Space provided opportunities for councils and their partners to innovate and try new ideas in order to drive improvement and efficiencies.

Over three years YoHr Space has overseen the allocation of £27.4m in Yorkshire and Humber, to date this funding  has delivered efficiency savings of over £80m. This figure will continue to grow as a number of projects won’t deliver their full efficiency benefits for a number of years.

The success that YoHr Space can demonstrate is significantly down to leadership within Yorkshire and Humber and the drive to deliver the best outcomes and value for money possible for local people. It is also testimony to the effort that officers within authorities and partners have made to transforming public service delivery. There is a strong legacy for the work of the partnership with many projects having been embedded into mainstream practice and others which have transformed the way councils operate.

To learn about all our projects use our online database which contains full information about our funding, programmes, geographical reach and individual projects. It is a valuable repository of learning and best practice from three years of the RIEP.

For more information about how YoHr Space's priorities and how it has delivered, we have developed three annual reports:
YoHr Space - Year 1
YoHr Space - Year 2
YoHr Space - Year 3 (available from June 2011)
